Holiday cards have been a seasonal tradition for years, but some business owners say they don't sell like they used to.
Chappy Windsor owns a local boutique and says while she believes in gifts from the heart, people seem to purchase gift cards and leave holiday cards on the shelf.
I think the Christmas card thing has passed on because of social media. I think that people are pretty up to date with what everyone is doing because their reading each other’s feeds. There has just been a loss in general of anything that's in print,” said Windsor.
Windsor told Your News Leader she only orders about 12 cards a year to sell during the entire holiday season.
