Beyoncé may be one of the most famous women in the world, but she rarely shares her personal information. She prefers to keep those details away from the media, and she does a great job at it.
But every once in a while, the Lemonade singer will bless fans will tidbits of information and glimpses of her life. Such was the case during the week of Dec. 8 when Beyoncé gave a wide-ranging interview with ELLE magazine. In it, she revealed this one thing that “grosses” her out.
Beyoncé hates this 1 thing
Beyoncé opened up to ELLE for its January 2020 issue. The interview is mostly about her IVY PARK collaboration with Adidas, which comes out at the top of the year, but she also discussed a broad range of other topics.
At one point in the interview, Beyoncé candidly responded to questions submitted by her fans.
When asked to name something that “grosses” her out, she replied: “People smacking when they eat.”
Right on, Bey.
Beyoncé reveals one other thing she can’t stand
The B’Day singer also told ELLE that hates being asked whether she’s pregnant.
“Get off my ovaries!” she added.
Beyoncé — who has three children with her husband, Jay-Z — is almost always rumored to be pregnant. She became the subject of pregnancy rumors as recently as October after she was seen at an event with what appeared to be a burgeoning baby bump.
However, the Sasha Fierce crooner shut the speculation down by posting photos from the same party that showed her with a flatter stomach.
Beyoncé has openly talked about her body evolution. She told Vogue in 2018 that her shape changed significantly following the 2017 births of her twins, Sir and Rumi Carter.
“To this day my arms, shoulders, breasts, and thighs are fuller,” she said. “I have a little mommy pouch, and I’m in no rush to get rid of it. I think it’s real. Whenever I’m ready to get a six-pack, I will go into beast zone and work my a** off until I have it. But right now, my little FUPA and I feel like we are meant to be.”
But Beyoncé did drop a lot of the weight she gained for her performance at Coachella 2018. She followed a strict diet and a rigorous workout routine.
Beyoncé is happy and confident in herself
In the same interview, Beyoncé made it clear that she’s more satisfied with herself than ever.
“If someone told me 15 years ago that my body would go through so many changes and fluctuations, and that I would feel more womanly and secure with my curves, I would not have believed them,” she told ELLE.
“But children and maturity have taught me to value myself beyond my physical appearance and really understand that I am more than enough no matter what stage I’m at in life,” Beyoncé continued.
“Giving zero f*cks is the most liberating place to be,” she continued. “Also knowing true beauty is something you cannot see. I wish more people focused on discovering the beauty within themselves rather than critiquing other folks’ grills.”
